The fourtieth day from the Orthodox Easter, known as well as the Day of Holy Ascension has been declared Heroes‘ Day, national celebration of the Romanian people. With this occasion, on Wednesday, 4th of June 2008 at 10 o’clock a.m., the Romanian Embassy in Prague will organize at The Central Cemetery in Brno a ceremony in the honor of the 1569 Romanian soldiers that fell during the battles in Moravia in the Second World War. Memorial crowns of flowers will be laid during this ceremony and a short religious service near the Romanian Heroes‘ Monument will be held.

For this reason we shall be honored by your participation, as well as of the presence of other Romanian or Czech people who are willing to take part on this memorial event.
